NSS Photo Collection
The photo collection consists of various collections that were donated over 96 years. Collections such as those from:
- Fritz Jaeger
- Reinhard Maack
- Leo Waibel
- Erich Zeller
- Hans Joachim Wiss
- Anton von Brederlow
- Walter Bethke
It gives a picture of Namibia from past to present, especially with regard to personalities, cities, flora and fauna, ethnology, anthropology, archaeology, missionary societies and many more fields. For extending our collection, we kindly ask you to donate old photos to the Namibia Scientific Society Library instead of throwing them away.
